After a little prodding by a friend I realized I didn't want to find separator strips like I used on the original quilt I made 10 years ago. Last night I sewed the three sections together. After trimming the side points it will be about 46" x 62". I'm thinking about adding a border, but we shall see how long that takes.
I also cut 1.5" purple squares yesterday and added them to the few that were cut previously.
It was warm enough to open all of the windows yesterday and low humidity. We had a 1 minute thunder and rain drops in the middle of the afternoon, and then it was sunny again.

That quilt looks absolutely lovely! Unless you can find a perfect border quickly, it probably doesn't need one! Great job, again! You ARE a superwoman!
What a lovely friend to give you a nudge. I agree with Kathy, if a border option jumps out at you, lovely but the triangles can stand on their own beautifully.
Love the thousand pyramids top. That was the design of my first large many decades ago using 70's calico prints. I put two borders on it, one a light print then a darker print for the outside. Back then I just did what the pattern said.
The 1,000 pyramids is looking so lovely, Wanda!! i think your decision to sew them all together looks great!!
I see your projected "color wash piece now has the purple elements all ready--nice work!!
42 dam and chilly with rain here this morning. A light misty kind of day--but had to put windshield wipers on during my trip to the grocery..
I am prepping my 2nd "Color Gluebook" pages for relaxation and still hunting for the next border on Frankencrumb....I may have to just go through all the purples, reds, yellow, pink, and B&W's that I have in my stash...!! Well, at least I'll review what I have on hand, right? ;))))
Hugs, Julierose
Another rich and ever so colorful top using your reunion of pyramids ~ no need for strips to separate . . . Purples are so pretty.
really pretty love the bright colors
I love all the color, pattern and texture in this one.
The pops of yellow add a lot of interest! We had a brief downpour yesterday afternoon, then the sun came out. Now if it will warm up a little....
