I made three more butterflies while watching TV last night, the two with purple upper wings and the brown/aqua one in the bottom row. I have been alternating warm/cool colors so far. I'm not sure if that is the way it will end up when I get all 20 blocks made. Today I will cut the sashing strips and more background triangles for the remaining 6 blocks.
We are having 4 snowstorms this week, maybe a foot of snow by the time it is all over. Good sewing weather!

lookin' good!
Your butterflies are looking so pretty and bring a hint of summer to your basement.
Loving these butterflies! Was there ever a pattern for them? Or did I miss it?
Working on your colorful butterflies in your stormy weather has to be a good distraction from looking outside. I still like to refer to this as 'winter butterflies' or 'snowing butterflies'. (*._.*) I talked to my sister in Sandwich this a.m. and she said they are predicting as you said, more big snow storms a comin'. Every time there is a lot of storm alerts out here we never seem to get them. Let hope the same for you too.

I'm a couple of days behind... hope to catch up soon. Stormy weather is good soup weather too. We had ice Wednesday morning... and cold enough that it was still here yesterday morning!!! I think it melted yesterday, but more coming!!! Stay warm!
