Experimenting...............
I decided to try making colorwashes out of just cool colors and just warm color fabrics. The smaller pieces are harder to design than large ones but I thought they came out pretty good. I might have to design a larger one of each out of my collection of 1000+ different fabrics cut into 2.5" squares.

Wow, just beautiful! Love the experiment with the warm versus cool tones. It is so much harder to do smaller especially when you limit the palette. These are great to study.
They turned out so beautiful. I would have not thought of trying that, but it was a good experiment! A larger piece would be very interesting!
Oh, so pretty, Wanda!
The cool one sings to my heart! You are on to something wonderful here. Have fun!
Great idea and I like the results.
Wow! These are so beautiful...
I will never get tired of seeing your color washes ! They are magnificent as always. I really feel like you are THE expert in color washes by far. You have well earned the OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL for your exuberant quilt designs . (*._.*).
