Pressing and trimming.......

I had the iron on so I decided I would press the flannel tumbler baby quilt top.  Then I trimmed the sides and now it is ready to be quilted.  I will be looking for a backing fabric.  This ended up 38.5" x 57" so it will take just one width of fabric for the back.

The top turned out great. It would work for a boy or a girl, but does had a masculine look to it.

What a wonderful baby quilt - soft and warm and comforting to the eyes.

I love these colors, just perfect for a good lap quilt.

I can just imagine a lil baby snuggling into this vibrant quilt, and you know those babies that eventually carry their favorite blanket around till grade school. Well this is that quilt. (*._,*). Love it !

And those lattice blocks are mesmerizing, they look like a basket weave one minute, then the next time I look I see a window pain. As always your choice of combining fabrics makes each block a mini quilt of its own.

P.S. Window pane, not pain. Another time when my iPad decided to change my spelling.

That looks nice and cozy. There is a little chill in the air right now so it looks great to me now.
