I have my walls set up for the colorwash class today. I want the students to see many different kinds of colorwash as they get set to design their own.
Some of them are regular quilting cottons, others are batiks. One is African fabrics.
Two of these are waiting to be quilted and bound.
We had fog yesterday morning and it looks like there may be some fog this morning too. I hope it burns off early.

Lucky Students get to see all your lovelies. I'd love to come to a class some day; would just need a lot of advance notice to plan ....
Looks great! See you in a few hours!!
Thanks for giving us a trunk show today as you prepare! Have a great class!
Your quilts ARE inspiring! I did one CW many years ago, and found it challenging and tedious, squares after squares. You offer so many more interesting possibilities. The crooked cobblestone CW has me wondering about giving it another try!!!
Wow, these look wonderful. It's interesting to see how the fabric color choices make such a difference.
It is so helpful and inspiring to see all these quilts with colorwash together. Thanks for sharing and posting.
Wow....what fun everyone is going to have!!!!
That was fun.
We get fog most mornings and then sun. I like it. It's like a sunny day wrapped up and waiting to spring out.
What an inspirational display!
Oh how I wish I could be one of your students today ! ! ! Your color washes are divine, spectacular, and always full of "exuberant fabrics". Your designs just explode with your amazing talent. I always enjoy taking a tour of your posts from the last several days... just makes my day !
Looking forward to watching your daughter's special on Animal Planet. I have been telling my circle of family and friends to watch !

What a delight for your students walking in to see your walls of colour wash - inspiring!
Wow! Such beautiful colors on walls. I love looking at them. Thanks for inspiring!
Wonderful!
Love your quilts but can't begin to guess how long it takes to cut up the fabrics (or to gather them in the first place) to have enough variety. Beautiful!
