More quilt show.............

I thought this was a nice balanced collection of blocks around the perimeter of this quilt.  The colors were really nice too.

I was standing in the aisle so this isn't a straight on shot.  I really liked this one.  There are a lot of brushed Moda plaids in it and I have a good collection of them.  I may just have to make one like this.  It was even richer looking than this photo shows.

The show is still on today if you happen to live in the area.

I really like the tumbler quilt. I think they have a die for them also. Make quick cutting that way. Chris

The tumbler quilt is very soothing and "old fashioned." Not a lot of excitement, though. Might get tedious - especially if you're going to make it anywhere near that large.

The first quilt is perfect, just beautiful. I made a tumbler quilt top just recently. I had a huge amount of 5" charm squares and used the template from Missouri Star. I used it as a leader and ender project and it turned out great with my selection of civil war fabrics and other dark fabrics, perfect for one of my grandsons. I think the next one I make will be from bright fabrics. I believe this tumbler is 2.5".

The tumbler quilt reminds me of the millennium quilt I made that had 2000 tumbler patches. Tumblers make an interesting one patch quilt.
