Hi Wanda, I agree the night shot of Many Moons looks better.. Beautiful wall hanging....
I always liked this quilt, but seeing it hung in its place--it is even better! What a delight always to see the effect of light on it whenever you walk in the room. Lovely.
It looks great on the wall.... but Many Moons... might be the wrong name... I see more suns than moons.... color-wise!!! I am missing my sewing spaces again!!!
Many Moons is beautiful and will be wherever you place it. The two new blocks are gorgeous and I especially like the pink one. I am waiting to see this quilt top finished.

Interesting differences between evening and sunlight - I prefer the more mysterious evening photos, though.

So, what do you do with the blocks you didn't like very much and which, as a result, aren't making it into the quilt?
I went back and looked at your explanation of facing instead of binding. Great idea! I have a couple of quilts I maybe should have used it on. Now I know.
