That will be a good use of the leftover strips. Chris
Leftover bits like that are so fun to play with. I feel sorry for people who throw them away.
What wonderful inspiration to see the start of a new idea from the trimmings of your current project!
Journal covers or mug rugs make such nice gifts. You are the 'Queen' of using every little scrap from every big or small quilt you make. For all the new comer's to your blog, I wonder if they know this is nothing new for you to do.

I just love working with leftover scraps, but it seems to begin never-ending projects all the time for me since my attention span is very short. Can't wait to see what you do with these.
Whatever you make with those scraps will be wonderful!
It is so much fun to play.
I would love to see you make a quilt out of the scraps. Maybe slice in between with skinny solid strips. Maybe frame a medallion style one with them. I believe you can do something really neat with them.

Whatever you make with those leftover bits will be so wonderful - the colours are fabulous!
I save all my scraps but never know what to do with them so thank you
Beautiful strips. Mug rugs are a good idea. Mine usually end up in hot pads.
Am new to your site. Your quilts are so beautiful. What a great way to make 16 patch block! Thanks for sharing.
