Almost done

I added the extensions on the too short rows and sewed the rows together. I will have to stare at it a few more days before I decide if it is really OK or not. I'm not sure I like the red block near the bottom and it may get picked out or resized with another new block below it. I ended up getting called in to work at the sewing machine store for a few hours yesterday so I didn't get much accomplished at home. Today I have a hair cut, grocery shopping, birthday luncheon for a sister in law, and computer club at night. Oh and go to the pharmacy to see if they gave my mother the wrong prescription or a generic of a different shape and color than she usually got at the pharmacy that closed last week. Prescriptions were "purchased" by another drugstore that I'm having a hard time liking.

We only got a dusting of snow and missed the big storm again. Yay!

It's very pretty! I wouldn't change anything, it's just right the way it is! I think if you took some of the red away from the bottom it would look unbalanced. Have fun with your busy day- at least it's nice weather for it! ~ Jennie in Marengo

I like the red block at the bottom too.
Can you have the prescriptions moved to a different pharmacy?

Don't change a thing! I is lovely!

Prescription "issues" are SO frustrating. It's good your parents have you to watch out for things. I don't know how elderly people who have no family or close friends to help them can manage to wade through all the problems that can develop with prescriptions. *sigh*

I love the quilt top!

The quilt looks great! The red block does not bother me so much. I tend to try and live with it for a few days, and if it still bothers me I change it up. I hope that you get the prescription issues ironed out. I have had those problems before, actually several times. But they have been resolved and I will never switch from my regular pharmacy again.

We will look at cobblestone 3 with you for a few days also. And just wait and see what you decide.

I know, with your long day so busy I know it will fly by...I can't see how you would squeeze in any sewing in today... Oh wait I see there is some time before you go to computer club. (*._,*) You are just amazing !

Hope all falls into place with the prescriptions, I agree with everyone else "they" never make it easy.

Wanda,
I really enjoy your blog and seeing your work in progress. However on the current cobblestone, I like the red on the bottom row, but I keep having trouble with the red on the left row (the red is okay, its the light colored center that is throwing me off, I think). Anyway, just my 2 cents worth.

The red block on the middle left side balances the red lower corner block. It needs to be there!

It's very pretty.

Hi Wanda,
Very nice combo of cobblestones. The red does not bother me at all in all the places it was used.
This looks like a "bright spot in the garden" where the sun hits just some of the plants, and leaves others in the shade.

oh wow this is absolutely incredible. i LOVE it! what great colors and i love the movement across the quilt due to your splendid choice of values. (Values, right?)

Do you mind if I get inspired by it and make one for myself? I think i'd keep it on the wall and take it down only on the coldest of winter nights.

thanks for inspiring me!!!!! (five exclamation points means i am extra grateful)

I like the sunny, shimmery center -- a Wanda trademark.

It looks ok to me... but you need to be happy with the end result.

Last night I was going to say what Laurel said about the red block on the left, but looking again this morning, I'm not so sure...

So clearly this is your call (as if it weren't anyhow! lol)!

Thanks for all your encouragement!
