By 10 p.m. I had two rows sewn but was too tired to sew them together.
We had lots of storms roll through yesterday morning and again in the evening. I had 1.5" of rain in the gauge from the morning rain. I'll check it again today to see how much we got in the evening. There were several severe storm warnings for the area and a couple tornado watches north of us so we lucked out and didn't get the severe weather.

This is going to be a pretty & colorful quilt,I worked my hand overtime with the hand quilting & this morning it's on strike 😄
Good that the severe weather missed you, Wanda. Nice start to sewing the rows together;)))
41 here--gray and cloudy--still pretty chilly with the easterly winds...

I went to a program at the Waukegan Historical Society -- 6:00-7:30. As we left the tornado sirens were wailing! Both the car radio and my phone announced a tornado warning for Zion/Beach Park/Winthrop Harbor. I stopped at a friend's house on the north side of Waukegan (she'd been at the program, too) until the all clear at 8:15. Scary!
Stunning fabrics with your triangle rows… We’ve been gone from Sandwich for almost 60 years but I still remember those frightening storms that would roll through.
The predicted .4 of light rain turned into heavy rain … more due over the weekend. When we lived in northern IN the severe storms and warnings were very real. A tornado touched down and destroyed houses only a few blocks from us one Easter. Glad you are safe.
we are to finally get a storm tonight too. Nice to have little visitors but always happy to send them on their way after a little bit lol
We had company earlier this week. I like using visitors as motivation to get all my crap up! LOL!
