I sewed the top half of the 16 patch top made with all Nancy Crow fabrics. I moved 2 blocks after I showed the layout yesterday.
I made 5 piles of duplicate blocks for the bottom half. Each stack has the identical blocks from each row above.
Then I took the blocks from row 1 above to make row 6, changing the positions of the blocks, then row 7 and 8. I have 2 more rows to lay out but I ran out of time yesterday. I may still move some blocks to new positions before I sew the second half.
Yesterday it was 67 degrees both inside and outside. We got a couple very light showers, enough to wet the driveway and leaves on plants.

This one is coming together nicely. Sorry you didn't get more rain, I know you could use it, as could we.
This quilt is looking terrific, Wanda--very balanced...;)))
We got a total of about 1.5" of rain--today it is 54 degrees and still pretty windy under overcast skies...
Yesterday I basted my yo-yos in place and today I hope to tackle basting those little 9-patches in place...
I had one of "those" nights last night so slept in a bit this morning ....moving kinda slowly so far....;))) hugs, Julierose
You are making lots of progress on this top. It was a beautiful day here yesterday -almost 70 degrees and sunny.
This quilt is looking wonderful, colors balanced, and I look forward to seeing it completed - probably tomorrow as fast as you sew!
69*F here today.
Hugs!
we might get rain on Saturday we need it
It always amazes my how different each of these 16-patch quilts look.
