3 quilt tops...................

I finally turned on the iron and got all three quilt tops pressed and measured.  Then I staystitched around the perimeter of this 16 patch made of Nancy Crow fabric.  This photo was taken with my Canon camera and is the closest to the real color.  My previous photos were too light.  This one is 64" x 80".

I am so happy these simple borders worked so effectively to make this medallion into a rectangular shape.  It is 61" x 81".  It is now a shape to cover a body.  No one will ever convince me that a 61" square quilt will cover a reclining adult body.

The sides have been trimmed and now this is a 40" square baby quilt size.

This is numbers 2-4 quilt tops for the month.  Now I need to get something finished for a balance in my monthly totals.

There is rain predicted for the next 2 days.  They are showing up to 2" but we have seen this before and we ended up with a half inch.  I'm trying to stay positive and believe them.

Three lovely quilts, Wanda--I think the color saturation in all of them is amazing...;)))Nice work getting these together...
45 here this morning and sunny--mostly yellows in the leaves--our one little bordering maple though is a pinkish-red--that lovely color I'd love to find fabric in...enjoy your weekend...hugs, Julierose

What marvelously varied and wonderfully colorful quilts you've created from your imagination!! Brilliant!
It's already 60*F here with the high forecast to be 76*F. No rain in sight for us but I surely hope your area gets those 2" if not a tad more!

Hugs!

At first I thought the Nancy Crow quilt was a quilt we hadn't seen before. The colors are so vibrant with your Canon camera. Wow, what a difference. The Medallion quilt looks perfect. It really came together nicely. The flannel quilt has more vibrant colors also as compared to previous post. I always love your flannel quilts. The colors on flannel just look richer and deeper than other quilt fabrics.

The medallion turned out great! I agree about square quilts. It baffles me why so many modern patterns are for 60" square quilts. Who uses that size?

The border on the middle quilt is absolutely perfect! And I always love to see your tumbler quilts. Oh my, every time I read one of your blogposts, I want to rush off to my sewing room and start a new quilt. But I need to stay focused on my personal goals and stay the course with my little RSC quilts!
