Top sewn, not pressed..................

The Tilda Whimsy top was finished last night and I'll press it today and take its photo.  There were only 5 seams in both directions but they were long ones so it took a few hours.

I got the next batch of strips ready to sew for 16 patches.  That project will probably be my evening sewing for several days.

I didn't have any dishcloths on the needles so I started one last night to use up the lighter blue and I'll finish it with the darker blue.  The lighter color is called Stonewash and the darker one is Blue Jeans.

Love the closer peeks at those pretty fabrics! I think I might have some of that yarn, the name sounds familiar. Do you give away your dishcloths?

Love the denim color of that cotton yarn--the dishcloths will be very pretty...;)))
Great job piecing all those long seams...my new ironing board arrives sometime between 14th-19th this month...my stack to be ironed is piling up...
36 here and super windy--out really tall trees are bowing to each other in the gusts ;)))...hugs, Julierose

That was a relatively quick quilt top - or so it seemed from your posts (behind the scenes might be a very different story). Looking forward to the sixteen patch in Tilda fabrics.

“Feed sack and country prints, timeless from Tone Finnanger of Norway”.
I read that on line and agree. I had to look her up to see if her prints and colorway was all soft and muted. And it looked like 90% of her collection was. Her prints are fascinating and lovely. Thanks for introducing her to me.

So disappointed with Joann’s closing all over the nation, it’s our only fabric store that carried a good supply fabrics, notions and yarn in our area. Plus all their crafty things and silk like flowers. Anyway… “SUGAR AND CREAM”yarns disappeared over night not one skein available. We have three privately owned fabric shops that cater to the quilter but so very small in comparison.

Whimsy is a delight and I look forward to seeing its photo tomorrow!
Onward to your next project as you do with nary a wasted moment between. Amazing!

Hugs!

That top is deceptively simple. I like the way you have your ladies strolling all over it!
