A little progress was made on the Tilda 16 patch blocks, but the most time yesterday was spent cutting batting and piecing backs for two quilts. I need to cut more batting today while the table is cleaned off.
In case you are wondering, the friend who came over yesterday to choose 2 baby quilts chose these two. My son's friends are becoming grandparents for the first time so I give them one for the baby's house and one for the grandparents' house.
"Who, me? No, you must be mistaken. I did not knock down the feeder, unscrew the lid, and climb inside to eat all of the birdseed." This is the look I got when the squirrel saw me at the window taking the photo. I tried to catch him inside the feeder but by the time I got the camera turned on and zoomed in, he had eaten all of the seed.

My hubby has gone to great lengths to keep the squirrels out of the bird feeder. Some times it does seem like they talk to you! 🤣
How nice for the baby to have two quilts! Those squirrels are fiendishly clever.
Those are pretty baby quilts. I can't wait to see the Tilda blocks all together. Shame on that squirrel - lol!
That squirrel is so fat I don't know how he could even climb a tree!
Darn squirrels--they really do a lot of damage--we no longer put out feeders because they end up doing this kind of damage...!!
I really like that purple/beige strata in your photo of the lovely Tilda fabrics in progress...
44 here and sunny--but still with cold winds off our 30 degree ocean waters...

I really despise squirrels they do such damage to the feeders. It got so bad for awhile that Mike put a catch and release trap under the bird feeders to catch squirrels that he would then put in the back of the truck and release them into the forest about 5 miles away - one winter I bet he was emptying it every day for a week. Then he realized it did no good there were others to take their place. The only thing that got rid of them was to not put bird feeders out. Now I will put them out for a couple days and then when it is empty not fill it for a week or so and then on and on so the squirrels don't get used to it.
Nice progress on Tilda blocks, two lovely baby quilts gifted away and your FAT squirrel stealing the show today. And he is one the fattest squirrel I’ve ever seen..
That is the funniest photo of the squirrel. This one was really crafty...maybe he had help!
Squirrels are absolutely shameless. I do not like them at all.
However, I do love the Tilda fabric! Those blocks are looking so good. I like the baby quilts, too! What a blessing you are.
I'm not surprised that they chose the new brown/blue one!
