New fabric...................

I usually preorder some of the new Kaffe collective fabrics in February and August.  There weren't many that I wanted but I thought this group would cut up nicely.  You can see here how they would look in a 2.5" strip.

I like Brandon's "gingham" which had some new colors offered.   I ordered 2 colors of one more print but there was a mistake on my order and one of them wasn't included.  It will be coming next week and then I'll show both of them.

I put the strip of Tilda's ladies on the design wall and then put the first 14 sixteen patch blocks up there with it.

I got the next 7 stratas sewn for 14 more sixteen patch blocks.  I pressed them after this photo and they are ready to cut into segments.

I have a list of things I want to do today so I hope I have the energy to tackle all of them.

Tilda's Ladies alternate beautifully with your 16 patch blocks!!
Nice to get an infusion of new fabrics to play with!!
Only 30 here this morning but sunny; hoping our lawn guy calls us back regarding the digging up of our old front garden spot--we cannot handle that type of work anymore...
I found some backing for my 2 Christmas placemats yesterday, but mainly was resting my hands...frustrating, but necessary...
Hugs, Julierose

I wish had covered my eyes and not seen Brandon's ginghams - love those! Your "stratas" look so pretty.

Wow, from Tilda to Brandon with a shaker of Kaffe. Hope you can adjust to the time change. (I did all the clocks except the cars right after dinner last evening.)

Such a difference in Kaffe and Tilda fabrics ~ one so vibrant and the other so soft. Your choices are always so tasteful, and fun to see what you created with them.

The jazzy Kaffe fabrics remind me of the end papers in many old books and on not so distant Kleenex boxes - but in neon colors. Delightful!
You know you're doing it again. You finish one quilt and make incredible progress on the next one! Applause!

Hugs!
