Lots of trees............

I made the chocolate spritz yesterday.  I started out with trees and the second tray had other shapes.  One of the shapes was a fail and broke up when I tried to get them off the cookie sheet, more for me to eat..........

I did get a lot of stitching time on the binding.  The bottom corner shows up as blue but it is gray there too.  The combination of my lighting and the camera's ideas made this happen.  I start my bindings 6" before a corner so I have 3 corners finished.  I have 2 sides and 19" on a third side done.

Now I need to get busy and bake the last 2 batches of cookies this morning.

Of course you have to eat the broken ones--after all you need to test them out--right?:)))
Your binding is coming along really well...
53 here this morning and foggy...hoping to be able to walk outside...it's been so cold and windy that I've only used the treadmill lately..I miss the fresh air...
enjoy your cookie baking...

Those cookies look good! You are making great headway on getting that binding sewn. I know it is a bit slower because of the batik. I sure will be glad when I get the binding done on the pink quilt. I am ready to start on something else.

I'm shopping today to make sure I will have cookie ingredients and then this week I need to get the house cleaned up for the holiday. Sometimes I wonder why I bother as I'm sure no one will notice and then after having a dog in the house for the weekend I will clean again after they leave! At least this dog doesn't shed so that is good

I really ought to make at least one batch of cookies! (I do bake our dessert --either a pie or a variety of bundt cake--but not cookies.)

You roll right along with your stitching and making cookies for Christmas. Your family is blessed to have you still being so active.

According to Cathy Guisewite, the author of the Cathy comic strip, broken cookies have fewer calories. I hope your family appreciates all your hard work in the kitchen.
