Somehow I never got around to sewing again yesterday. I took a walk around my yard in the morning. I love this lime green coleus. I will have to be sure I get some cuttings to root over the winter.
This is the first year I am able to get photos of the Rose of Sharon without a lot of bug holes in them. We didn't have anywhere near as many Japanese beetles as we have had in previous years. This is a pale lavender. I have a darker red violet and a white bush right by these. All I planted was the pale lavender but I have both other varieties elsewhere around my house. I guess the birds must be carrying the seeds around. We got some much needed rain last night so maybe the grass will be all green again soon.

The light green coleus is beautiful. I like the saw-like edges. Nice pictures of the Rose of Sharon. I have a bunch of doubles in the yard. Might as well enjoy the garden while you can as fall is just around the corner. Yay we got some rain finally. It is either feast or famine. Enjoy the long weekend.
The pictures of the flowers are so pretty. The Rose of Sharon is one that always reminds me of Dad. Mom has one in the front yard and Dad always called it "Hollyhocks." I knew he was wrong, but it just wasn't important enough to correct him. The hummingbirds love it.
lovely! I have the lime green coleus also 2 of them, I forgot to pinch them back though so they are kind of tall looking.
Really pretty colors here.
Pretty hibiscus.
Love the lime with the pink. I am glad you found time to look at the flowers I hope you had a nice rail lst night we did.
It is no wonder your quilts reflect the colors of gardens so well. You have a perfect pallette right there. That lime green coleus is wonderful.
Your coleus is so pretty! My grandma always had it growing...it's something you don't see so much of anymore.
I have the lilac Rose of Sharon but the white one you have posted is my favourite
