Half sewn................

I started out the day yesterday digging plants and dividing them for a friend.  Then I pulled all of the weeds out of the raised bed in the backyard.  I finished by mowing the front yard.

Then I started sewing columns on the die cut half hexagon quilt and am halfway done.

After I took that photo I took down the next 2 columns safely overlapped and pinned and started sewing the seams.

  3. you have been busy - I need to get one applique project off my cutting table so I can get back to my Drunkard Path blocks for sewing but currently the applique is taking up the table. More work in the garden today too

  7. Each time I look at this pattern it has such a visual rhythm to it, with its horizontal rows looking like unfolded accordion pleats and then theres the honey comb affect too. Such fun to watch grow.

  8. Now you have reminded me of the heap of leftover half hexagons from the quilt I made - Chain Link Fence - I think I should get them and get sewing. There's no cutting involved so I just need to get sewing.
