I sewed more triangles after I set up the new modem/router but I didn't take any photos. I did get some more photos of early growth in the garden. The Hostas are slow coming up. This is the most advanced growth so far.
I love the Sedum at this early stage. It has grown about 2 inches since I posted the last photos.
This is the other variety. It has a little purple tinge to the green as it grows. The flower is also slightly different.
This little Coral Bell in the back garden never seems to grow much. It keeps its color and a few leaves all winter so it is really hardy.
Yay! You successfully installed the router/modem! My hat’s off to you, Wanda. I too, love the early stages of sedum as it emerges from the ground. Take care.
ReplyDeleteIt's so wonderful to see how the plants are going in the garden ... but we have snow today and I covered some plants overnight. Today cold and gray with us. But the mailbox had a big envelope for me ... wonderful ... I can get through being inside with book:-) Do you know books by Yoko Saito, Japanese desainer? - So wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you Viola
It is so fun to see things growing after surviving a cold winter. The cora bell is so pretty. I noticed last night that mine are doing good since I put up the deer fence. I gave them a drink of water since is has been so dry. That should make then happy.
ReplyDeleteI never knew hostas die back in winter. Probably I've never had any ...
ReplyDeleteIf you have hostas already then I must have some hiding on, I hadn't seen any yet and I know I get them before you but this year that extreme cold spell we had in February seems to have changed the growing cycle on some of my plants - I'm glad you got your modem set up I am really poor at computer things
ReplyDeleteNice to see your new growth slowly making it's way up. I've not checked my Hosta's yet (fingers crossed the snails don't get them). I was thinking to paint an outside wall today but it's too cold. Snow was forecast and we got some for about 40 seconds haha so hope that's passed over :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your success with the modem/router replacement. Changes in the garden in spring are so rapid, it's hard to keep up. I finally sprayed deer repellent on Saturday, because the hostas, day lilies and sedum are popping up and the deer love to eat all of the tender new shoots. My coral bells seem to have had a bad winter, probably from the lack of snow cover. We are in a deficit for moisture for the year.

I tried coral bells one. year but they didn't like our yard for some reason. I love their coloring and texture though.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see your sedum coming up--love those little rosettes...

Do the snails keep away from your Hostas Wanda? I've tried them here but the snails and slugs just munch through the leaves.
