I decided the layout on my previous post was definitely the final layout so I sewed it together yesterday. I haven't pressed the final seams yet so that is my job today. I love all of the secondary patterns, the alternating dark and light grid, alternating dark and light squares in the background, the iron crosses and in some places a circular design. These were cut with my Crossed Canoes GO! die.I think the bottom right corner is more attractive than it looks in the photo above. There is one green iron cross in this photo.I will take another photo after I press it.
Wow you got the top all sewn together! It is very pretty!

ReplyDeleteWow, you sewed this altogether in one day!! It's stunning Wanda, oh yes I spot the iron cross. Great selection of KF Collective fabrics, I have an order in for the February collection but my favourite is the August one coming later in the year, the PJ ones are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe colors, the patterns, all make this a stunning quilt.
ReplyDeleteAll of your quilts are my favorites, but this one is definitely my favorite :-) I think I need to make a crossed canoe quilt now!
ReplyDeleteIt's magical!
