I thought maybe I could find enough energy to sew the one big 18" Churn Dash block but got stuck in indecision on the fabrics. The two on the right would be the outside 2 fabrics and one of the 2 on the left would be the center square. I'm not totally sold on this yet so I didn't cut it.
Bye bye Beachy quilt top (from the pop-up shop) made of Marcia Derse fabrics! I spent almost all day yesterday getting 16 packages ready to mail and making two trips to the post office. I sold 3 quilt tops altogether so that is 3 that I can take off my "to be quilted" list. Yay!!! Today I'll be packing 7 more packages and mailing them. If you want to visit the pop-up shop click here. 4 1/2 more days to shop.
I'm fascinated with the Coneflower buds this year. This group has the Stained Glass Hosta in the background. This photo was taken in mid morning with the sun shining.
One more, just because........... This photo was taken at dusk so the greens have more of a blue tint to them.
Lovely fabrics for the next chrun dash block...I especially like the very top left green/blue/brown one...
ReplyDeleteInteresting cone flower buds' shapes--
hot and humid waving Julierose
For the center I would pick the lower left fabric because of the scale, the red is large, the poppy print is a medium and the green flowers is a small. Congratulations on selling so much from your popup shop!
ReplyDeletethe weather is a drainer for sure on the energy - when it is 88 and humid I just don't feel like doing anything - so different from when it is 88 and dry. The garden plants sure do love it though don't they
ReplyDeleteEnergy drainer is right. I have not been taking walks and I have to water my front and back yard everyday. The coneflower photo looks like Kaffe fabric.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the sales on your pop up shop. I love the fabrics of your next churn dash block. Very lovely. The coneflowers are also lovely!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the success of your pop up shop! It's a brilliant idea.
ReplyDeleteThat's one way to knock some projects off your list, Wanda!! Good to hear your sales are going well.
