This is part of my driveway garden. I don't have as many pots as usual but these were already potted last year and brought into the heated garage for the winter. They aren't growing very fast this year but they are still pretty.
The southwest corner of my yard is a Hosta bed. I have about 10 different varieties in there.
One of them is a really tall Hosta. I wish I knew where I got this one. Most of them don't have tall stems like this one.
I picked the first black raspberries on June 19 and picked the last ones 2 nights ago. That was a pretty long season for them this year. The last ones were pretty tiny and the Japanese beetles were starting to eat them.
What a pretty hosta bed; very soft looking aren't they? All those lovely greens together...Hugs from afar julierose
ReplyDeleteLots of pretty things growing in your gardens! I got a bit of rain yesterday and there is rain possible everyday for the rest of this week. That is quite a change from the previous forecast. I looked last night at one of the daylily plants I have and the deer had come and eaten most of the flower buds so I won't be getting many blooms. This plant sits right next to the front of the house. I need to get one of those motion sensor water sprayer things to scare the deer away. I would just have to remember to turn it off so it didn't get the postman!
ReplyDeleteOh boy, bindweed and japanese beetles? Sound like a battle zone for the flowers! Love the hosta garden. Very refreshing photos, day 6 of 90s, two more will be a record here.
ReplyDeleteEven with all of your heat this summer, the host as look like they are thriving. They look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the many sales in your pop up shop! Gorgeous hostas.
