Tuesday night is my 3 hour TV night so I did ditch quilting while watching the shows. My 19 year old machine is a quiet stitcher. Here I am quilting in one direction on this colorwash.
I have 6 lines left to quilt in the other direction after 3 hours of quilting. Today I hope to finish those 6 lines and get another colorwash basted.
We're in for 2 days in the 30s later this week with snow flurries and then temperatures in the 20s next week. This is definitely early to be this cold.
Not looking forward to winter!!! I would if the creative space was a working area... and may just have to make a small space... upstairs!!! I have been sewing vicariously via blogs. Seriously thinking it over! We must live in a micro-climate. Our lows every night are lower than predicted for the area, (26 for at least 4 of the last 7 nights) and colder to come!!!
ReplyDeleteYou made a lot of progress! This one will be done before you know it!
ReplyDeletewe are in for winter also - cold front on Thursday were the high is 51 in the morning and then down to the 20's and barely getting to 40 on Friday I hear - then warm again, then cold again - I like it if we just get to winter and stay there for a couple months so I don't have to check what the weather will be when I get dressed in the morning - nothing worse then putting on wool socks and a sweater and find out after you leave the house that it is expected to get to 60!!
ReplyDeleteWhich shows do you watch on Tuesday I watch NCIS but put it to record or stream or whatever you call it and also watch Bluebloods - I need to find more to have handy for when I want to just sit and do hand work
Yes. Have to watch both NcIS.
DeleteI just finished a baby quilt stitching in the ditch. It sure is a quick and easy way to finish off a quilt.
ReplyDeleteYou are making good progress on your quilt . I own that same machine unfortunately last year it died on me , I miss it so much, one of the best machines I have ever owned but no shame for it,I used it a lot !
