I worked really hard yesterday finishing the cleaning of the garage and hauling sale items out there. I also took stacks of magazines to a local paper collection bin. I am SO happy to have that done. When I needed to collect my thoughts I sat down and knitted a few rows. I love the coral color in this yarn, not quite orange, not quite red.
Sometimes resting is the only thing to do after all the cleaning and sorting. You will be relieved after your sale that you got rid of all the extra stuff. Chris
I do like that color. I am thinking of crocheting a little bit on our trip this year, something easy like a shawl while the vehicle is moving - I don't' hand stitch as well while the vehicle is in motion any more.
After what I had been doing for a number of days, all I want to do is clean my own house. We just set everything my sister wanted in my garage and now I need to spend some time getting things properly stored. I don't know how long I will be storing them so they needs to be clear of any moisture that comes off the car. My once empty garage has accumulated quite a bit of stuff this summer. Best of luck with your garage sale!
Good Morning Wanda.....I hope all goes well with your garage sale, and that Mother Nature cooperates with the weather. Speaking of Mother Nature, we sure could use some of that rain she kept showering us with earlier. We've got so much parched earth just gasping for some water, that I hope we get some rain soon, but not on the day of your sale!
I have misplaced the pattern for the knitted dishcloth. I think it starts with four stitches, but after that, I am lost. Any chance you can steer me to a link for it? I did google it, but a ton came up and I didn't see anything right off hand. Patty in Cali otterpc@aol.com Thanks so much!!!

ReplyDeleteClearing stuff out is hard work. I always find it taxing both physically and emotionally.

ReplyDeleteI need to haul off a few magazines too.
ReplyDeleteI love knitting those dishcloths. I haven't seen that colorway in the Peaches and Creme yarn. I will be on the lookout for it.
You are quite trendy with that turquoise and red!

ReplyDeleteYou needed that down time after all of the hard work. I'll bet you can't wait to get back to stitching.
ReplyDeleteLove that yarn color. I feel a new potholder coming on.
ReplyDeleteYes the quilt top arrived safely and it is more beautiful in person. Colors are awesome. Love it and I am sure my son will too. Thanks much.
