Garage sale..........
I guess I'm ready for the garage sale. It is going to be a 2 1/2 day sale this time because I have a lot of bigger ticket items and hope to sell all of them. Nothing quilt related in this one, just household and craft patterns. I didn't realize the value of my bicycle until one of my son's employees told me it was vintage and that they don't make them like it any more. It is a Ross which stopped production in 1989 and it is in pristine condition. On a popular Internet auction site there is an identical one for $150 with $100 shipping cost.
Good Luck! Chris
ReplyDeleteI don't know about vintage bikes, but yours has the seat and handle bars that make a nice bike for a vintage gal like me. I need to get my bike tuned up and out in the world again. Good luck with your sale!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything sells for top dollar. Funny thing, I have a fabric panel screen almost identical to the one in the picture.
ReplyDeletegood luck with your sale, I hope your bike sells, I believe it is hard to find some of those vintage bikes.

ReplyDeleteA few years back, my husband decided to sell the 3 wheel bike he had bought for his mother years ago. I used some special gel to clean it up and he sold it for $250. I love good garage sales, heck, any kind of garage sale and I have only been to about 3 this year. Good Luck and I hope all that big stuff sells.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with your sale!
ReplyDeleteI hope it's a huge success!

ReplyDeleteGood luck. I can't wait to hear what the bike goes for. How fun!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you do sell all - and the bike is a gem I bet that goes pretty quickly.
ReplyDeleteI hope your sale is a huge success and that things sell quickly so that you are done earlier than you anticipate.
