Most of the day yesterday I worked on preparing for my garage sale, pricing items. Today I need to vacuum the garage and set up the tables. By last night I was ready to unwind with my mindless sewing project. Purple was on the menu.
I'm with Gene..I get so aggravated at people who dicker with the amount of something that's already practically being given away. Rather donate and write off than mess with selling (nearly giving away). You make me tired, Wanda, with all you do!! LOL
Good luck with the garage sale! I have one in my future but I'm just talking about it so far, no preparation. Ha. Today is my birthday, I opened your blog being one of my favorites and lo and behold...purple, my favorite color too! Thanks for adding to my day!
I think I need to force myself to sew my scraps in color families. I like sewing everything together because I am afraid it will look too matchy-matchy. I can never stick to monochromatic combos. Yours are lovely.
I am working on a garage sale too and that is a lot of work. I am too pooped to wind down after working on it.lol I love the colors you have chosen for the blocks, beautiful!
Garage sales take so much time. Hopefully you sell it all. Looks like you had fun with the strips. Chris
ReplyDeleteI have never done a garage sale - I would rather give it away than have someone argue that a quarter is too much for a 20 dollar item.
ReplyDeleteYour purplss are gorgeous
