Since you recently posted the number of quilts you've finished on average per month, I'm curious about something. How many quilt tops do you have that are waiting to be finished?
Still one of my favorites! I've been into grays lately and made a little baby quilt with a gray background - it was a solid gray, Kona Ash, but I really like the way it turned out and plan on using that again sometime soon, the Kona Ash, but not the dame pattern or the same fabric otherwise. Now I see so many more possibilities, my eyes having been opened by your use of the gray dotty! Of course, I have already bought a lot of the Kona ash, so maybe I'll stick with it for a while? We shall see!
I love this one. Perfect with the dotted fabric.

ReplyDeleteFantastic...I love this one!
ReplyDeletebeautiful colors
ReplyDeleteI said it before, but I still admire the artistic restraint of sticking with the gray dotted fabric throughout. I really like this quilt!
ReplyDeleteAnd then the fractured quilt! I have never mustered the courage to use more than one fabric in a binding. Maybe someday!

Just love the gray dots with the hard edge of the zig zag. The colors are just super.
ReplyDeleteGray dotty is such a fun quilt to look at. Congrats on your first August finish!
ReplyDeleteGray dotty is a winner - May have been less exciting to piece, but the results are excellent. Love the dot- Play in the backing ...

ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous quilt. Those colors just pop right off that gray!
ReplyDeleteYour rows look like they are floating above the background.
