About a month ago I dug into my big box of Christmas fabrics and cut out 16 pillowcases for a project my cousin was working on. That is about 17 yards out of the box. Next I sorted out all of the scraps and pieces not full width and bagged them separately. Yesterday I took them out and pressed them and cut 3" finished triangles with my studio die cutter. I started sewing them last night while I watched TV. I am tempted to make more of the streak of lightning zig zag blocks with them but I may play with them a little first. I might end up making star blocks because I could add center squares and corner squares and make a bigger project. This is fun for me, no plan, just playing and eventually there will be a finished project.
What fun...wonderful Christmas fabrics and a new adventure to start! Plus no pressure! Hugs and happy stitching!
