I had to take a photo of my weedy front garden to remind me it needs to be worked on next year. My potted plants have seen better days and it is time to empty the pots for the winter.
My eye appointment did not go well yesterday. I was instructed to drive immediately to the nearest Eye Clinic and see a retinal specialist. I will need more tests. I will not be elaborating on this because I don't have any details yet.
Your garden may be weedy, but that purple is delightful! Are they asters? Sorry to hear about your eye test. This sounds serious. Please keep us informed. Hope all goes well for you. Sending you cyber hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh Wanda, I hope all is well with your eyes. I will be thinking about you!
ReplyDeleteLike Hetty said "Keep us informed" We will be praying for you.
ReplyDeleteYou're in my prayers. I hope you get a good report.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear this news, but they have wonderful doctors for eyes these days. I am sending prayers your way for a good report.
ReplyDeleteI will be thinking of you and your eyes and hope all well be well.
ReplyDeleteWanda I've been reading your blog for a couple of years. You have been such a great inspiration to me. Although we obviously aren't acquainted, you and your blog are part of daily morning routine! Know that I will be thinking of you and hoping that if you do have an eye issue, that is easily resolved/repairable. Eye care has advanced tremendously in the past few years.

Good luck at the retinal specialist. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you take care of your eyes and your physician sent you to a specialist right away.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything goes well with your next appointment.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful!!!!
Now that I'm on the road to recovery, it's my turn to send you some positive thots and a sprinkling of Goddess dust.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I can't send any cookies or fudge. :(
Even the weeds cannot ruin the flowers... and I'm praying that even the eye problems can be quickly pulled out and eradicated.
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know I'm thinking of you and hoping all goes well with the retina specialist. Take good care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteI will be thinking about you and your eyes. Good thoughts are headed your way. Take care!
ReplyDeleteThat was not the way the day was planned!!!! I will keep you in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThat was not the way the day was planned!!!! I will keep you in my prayers.
ReplyDeletePrayers for you and your eyes...
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for those wonderful eyes of yours!
ReplyDeleteEverything will work out just fine...!!
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago I had torn retinas in both eyes--separate incidents--and was referred to the specialist immediately, also. A lazer treatment quickly fixed the situations and all has been well since. My prayer for you is that you are also as easily healed of whatever is your situation, and you are back to your normal routine without delay. Modern technology is such a blessing!
ReplyDeleteAt least you can grow things...I'm the daughter of a woman who actually killed a cactus! I will say a prayer for your eyes and a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteGood thoughts, hugs, and prayers for you AND your eyes!
ReplyDeleteHopefully you will get good news. Take care.
ReplyDeleteUgh, I'm sorry to hear about your eye problems! I hope it is something easily resolved.
ReplyDeleteLove the little pop of red against the purple. Sending prayers for your eyes.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your problems. Hope they will quickly be repaired. Sending prayers your way.
ReplyDeleteEye Specialist can do so much for our eyes, in our world today. I have had a detached retina twice in the same eye and it was Lazered in office and I drove home myself. I will be thinking positive thoughts for you and know my friend will overcome this hurdle.
ReplyDeleteWeedy front garden... looks like every garden this time of year. We all get to the point and hope a good hard frost will take care of all... weeds included.

Hope your eye appointment goes okay. Had to take my father to an appointment with an eye specialist last year after he had a wonky test and got referred, but after more testing, things were okay after all. May your news be as positive.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Blessings to you for your future eye tests. I hope all will go well for you. You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeletePraying that all goes well for you, Wanda! Will be thinking of you and hoping for positive news from you. God bless. Carol
ReplyDeleteHi Wanda,
ReplyDeleteThe asters sure add a riot of color even at the end of the season!
Sending good wishes your way for your eyes!

ReplyDeleteThose asters make it all look good......I dread the first frost robbing me of my color !
Ohhh... I will be praying that you find out soon what needs to happen so your eyes will be OK. Anxiety is the pits, but hang in there!
