I found 3 fabrics that I like as binding for the H quilt.
I think all 3 of them work but I think I'll go with the third choice so it blends into the quilt instead of making a statement of its own. It's hard to believe this is the last day of 2011. I need to do a collage of finishes but it may have to wait til Monday because I need to get this binding done today and it will probably take me until midnite to do it.
As always, your color sense is right on target. And isn't it nice to have a good selection right there for a choice? Ah, stash - it's a wonderful thing!
Hi Wanda, I was thinking the first one looked pretty blendy, but you're right that the third one does an even better job. You probably have it all done at this point!
Happy and healthy New Year to you!

The third one works for me. Chris
ReplyDeletePerfect choice on the binding and the reminder that the binding doesn't need to stand out but blend. Thanks for the visuals.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the third choice too. Looking forward to seeing your finishes for 2011!

Before I even read your last paragraph ... I too liked #3.
