Saturday things..

I got up with a headache yesterday but it didn't get really bad until around noon.  I worked 2 hours at the quilt shop in the morning and visited Dad later in the afternoon.  Otherwise I didn't do anything except look through a stack of fabric, nap and play Spider Solitaire.

This is the newest bloom on the fourth cacti plant.  There are 2 more plants with buds, one orange and one that is some shade of  pink.

  1. Isn't nature amazing - to be able to produce such a beautiful flower! I think it's fun that your "rescued" plants have such different colors of flowers - such a treat! I hope you feel better today.

  7. This bloom is gorgeous. Just getting caught up on blog reading. Love the new quilts, very colorful and pretty! We have frost here too this week and even a little snow....the huge kind of flakes that look so pretty coming down and you know won't stick.

  12. Sorry to read about your headache, but thanks for the picture of the cactus bloom. I love these plants, have several, which are budding. They are non-toxic, so it is one species that is good to have if you have a cat that likes to chew on leaves.
