I have had journal covers on my list to make for several months. I finally finished 2 so I can send photos to a prospective buyer. You might recognize the one on the right with one of the new squares I just made Tuesday night.
Gosh, I really dig these. The black & orange values in the one on the left are my style and the one on the right is so creative where the heart sits. It would make a writer feel something wonderful.
I'm way behind on your blog. Love these covers and your "play" blocks. Striped Jacks, those look very interesting. I'm just getting the first blooms this week, we finally have a few days of sun in a row, but I don't think we've hit 70 yet! Love the H piece, it has the perfect home with you!
The word "finished" has such a nice ring...
ReplyDeleteVery colorful projects..
Love both... will have to try my hand at making me a journal cover some time soon...
