Blogger was down for about 14 hours by my calculation. Yesterday's post was removed as was everyone else's but they promise it will be back. Now on to our regularly scheduled agenda......I changed the second block from the left on the bottom row to a small circle and I think it is better but not sure I'm totally done yet.
My striped Jacks are blooming.
I found another patch of the green Jacks near my lot line. There are several in bloom, some just coming up and some half way through their growth.
While I was out I picked a nice little bouquet.
Lily of the Valley, my favorite scent. I wanted them in my bridal boquet, but they were out of season in August in WI in 1968. I'd guess you could have any kind of flower you'd want in your boquet provided you had enough money to import it. Nice boquet! Oh and your quilt is great, too. It is improved with the little circle.
ReplyDeleteI smell the lilies of the valley all the way from here. Heavenly!
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to check tonight to see if my Lillies of the valley have bloomed yet. They spend most of their time in the shade. The quilt is coming along nicely. I like the change you made.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is more amazing each time you change it!
ReplyDeleteYour little bouquet with the Lillies of the Valley and violets is just precious.
Lovely bouquet! By my calculations Blogger was down for over 24 hours. I couldn't post anything at all yesterday.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt looks terrific!
Hi Wanda, SO glad to hear from you (with the delay)!
ReplyDeleteI was about to call you. Love the "Jack in the Pulpits!"
Great photos.
Wanda, the circles of batiks are wonderful. Love this one!!
ReplyDeleteLove how these blocks look to be bleeding into one another. Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThose striped Jacks are fantastic. I have to go get some especially since they love shade and I have plenty of that.
The placement is looking good.
ReplyDeleteYour little bouquet has 2 of my very favourite perfumes and both have pretty wee faces too.
Very happy the problem was with blogger and not with you. I was concerned because you are such a faithful daily blogger.
ReplyDeleteSweet bouquet! We lost many of our plants in the -34 F. degree freeze this past winter. We've had only a few drops of rain, and apparently only the weeds will bloom this year (although we did get several stunted tulips). I'm definitely ready for spring!
ReplyDeleteSo now I know why there was no posts yesterday. I love the quilt and can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize that the Lilies of Valley (my birthday flower) are blooming. I will have to get someone to check out my patch at the back side of my yard. What a beautiful bouquet you have picked.
Your white, crisp lilies of the valley are easily helping me remember their unique fragrance. Ours aren't quite ready to bloom here yet, but the violets are all over. Spring is truly here!
ReplyDeleteSo glad I didn't try to post anything in the middle of the week. If you haven't posted, we know something is really wrong.
