What a difference an hour makes........

The sun is out, I have a sidewalk again (see previous post for the before photo).

My driveway is 3 lanes wide, and the pile of snow is on the 3rd lane which is off to the side.  It looks like a good sledding hill right now.  My plow guy did a good job and the snow wasn't packing under his tires so the sun is melting off the rest.

  1. OH WOW Wanda...at least you got your drive plowed and can get out. I talked to my sister this morn and she said her husband was shoveling by hand till the guy with the plow came.

Al Roker (Today Show) said this is the biggest snow storm to hit 9 states in history.

I know it is hard to believe but we do not have a flake of snow in our yard. But temps have been in the single digits the past 2 days. Sun is out and that makes it just fine. I do not care how hot or cold when the sun is out.

  2. It is COLD here, too! Don't know if I'd deal too well with the snow, though. LOL But then, the heat is no fun either.

  4. Glad it is all cleaned off and the sun can melt some of it. We don't have any sun yet but I did shovel some snow and posted a few photos.

  5. I'm glad you can see your driveway again. I don't think my daughters in the NE will ever see driveways, grass, mailboxes, etc.... again!

  7. I am glad someone can see sun.
We have had another 3 inches since 11 am. It is not supposed to quit until 5 pm.
I think we will hit 20 inches thanks to Lake Michigan.

  9. Hi Wanda,
Yay for sunshine! We got some this afternoon, too. We waved to the road commission guy as he drove by plowing. Should be a driveable "winter as usual" by tomorrow.

  10. Goodness, three posts in one day! I'm glad you had someone plow you out, I don't like to think of you shoveling snow so often. Sunshine is good... sunshine is good! Hang in there, maybe you can make your next meeting!

  11. Stay warm and safe. I've been watching the news and wondering about all my blogger buddies in the path of this storm, yikes, people really got smacked with this one. Glad the sun is shining on you today.

  12. Something about having your driveway plowed out that makes you feel like you are back in control again after a big storm.

Stay warm because here come the frigid temps!
