Service call

The service tech from my local sewing machine store made a call to my house today and gave the Jewel a check up and added my micro handles.  I didn't get a chance to try them out because I had to leave for my church sewing circle right after he left.  By the time I got home I was too tired to load a quilt.

We got the 19 pillowcases finished and also 6 little preemie shirts at church.  50 pillowcases were delivered to the domestic abuse shelter before Christmas so now we are working on our second 50.

I was busy with the service tech at the time the 555,555th guest visited so I wasn't able to check where they were from.  Maybe I'll be luckier on the 600,000th one.

  4. Wanda when you say pillow cases, do you mean what we call 'cushion covers'??? We call pillow cases the rectangular shaped 'bag-like' covers that we put on the soft, stuffed, rectangular items that we rest our heads on in bed. Cushions we use for decorating or for cuddling in the case of ones for children...just wondering..

  5. No wonder you were too tired to try the new handles out. It will be fun to hear what you think of them.

  7. That's a picture after my own heart! I have a set of microhandles for my HQ16 I bought before Christmas and they are still sitting in the box! Your photo is a great reminder to get my butt in gear and get with it!

  9. I am assuming everyone brings in their machines when working on the pillow cases. And for the ladies to have you in their group.

I was surprised when you had a service tech come to service your machine. You are so savvy with the mechanics of machines yourself.
