Baking, cleaning the basement.......

The art quilters' group is coming Monday so I baked the 2 batches of cookies last night; their favorites, chocolate chip and peanut butter.  I also made a batch of fudge because I wanted some.  I might share it with them.............

I finished sewing the rows of the batik Winding Ways and got one cross row sewn.  There is so much matching to do that it is slow going.

  1. I am an early riser and I get my cup of coffee and sit at my computer. I do my email and then I enjoy my favorite blogs. You are first. I really enjoy hearing about your projects and your Dad. I just wanted to tell you that you brighten my day and give me inspiration. Sherry

  4. Those cookies look wonderful! And you are usually my first stop of the day, too. I really appreciate your diligence in posting. It may not seem much to you, but I have learned so much from watching your process when you put together a quilt. Thank you!

  9. I think I will go look up how many calories quilting burns up...to think of sewing and eating such cookies...maybe it is all the talking you all must do together that balances these treats! You probably burned the fudge up cleaning in prep for your hospitality. I'd be right over if you were my neck of the woods.
Happy holidays to you. I enjoy your posts...your colors and creativity. Thanks for your sharing. I hope your quilting friends feel the love in every cookie.

  10. Speaking of fudge, I would be glad to help you eat your fudge! Yes, I, too, was very unenergetic on Friday after Thanksgiving. I never go shopping on that weekend. I stay home and keep warm.

Your Winding Ways blocks are beautiful.
