After I finally finished cleaning up the basement yesterday I made 2 more sets of blocks for this quilt. I found the squares already grouped and ready to cut when I was cleaning off table tops. If I add one more row it is more the shape of a twin bed and then if I add a border it will be a twin quilt. That settles the question of border or not.
Today the art quilters are coming. A few years ago we had to cancel several of our dates because of snow and ice. This year we have lucked out. We won't meet again until the new year.
Wanda, I heard the four letter word in the newscast this morning. I really think we have been lucky. The blocks are bright and colorful. Have fun with the ladies. Chris
Isn't it nice to find squares already cut and ready to go? They will be a nice addition to the quilt. Have fun with the Art Quilters, and eat lots of cookies.
Nice blocks, Wanda. Sometimes I get an itch to see a top finished and I add a border just for that reason. Something in me just won't let me make another 7-8 blocks (I know, that's lazy). Have fun with your art group and eat a cookie for me! Can we see pictures of what you guys are working on?
