Most of the day I was cleaning the basement........
and I don't think you want to see a picture of that. Last night I got busy and got 1 of the 2 journal covers made from the piles of pieces I showed yesterday. Either side could be the front of this one but this is my favorite side.
I consider this the back, but it could be the front, depending on how you insert the notebook.
And the opened view.
I found this little wooden box/basket in my studio for my Caryl Fallert hand dyed fat quarters. They aren't a perfect fit but I don't want to refold them.My plan is to go out to the fair today. It is half price entrance fee for seniors today. See, there are some perks for getting older.

    The little basket full of colour must be a great sight when you walk into that area! What a super way to display those gorgeous fabrics.

  17. Absolutely the perfect wooden basket. That's the kind of thing I always keep my eye open for if I'm in an antique mall or yard sale. It looks perfect.
