This is the final layout for this quilt top. I could move pieces forever trying to not have the same fabrics near each other, but I decided this is good enough.
I started webbing it last night and got the 4 long seams top to bottom sewn and am now sewing cross rows. Three done, 3 to go. I need to finish this top today so I can get back to the other one and get the last 3 fabrics chosen for it.
Most points are matching well but there are a few to go back and take in a tiny bit.
Another warm day yesterday with windows open to air out the house. Today and tomorrow are going to be a little cooler, in the mid 50s.

This is really looking great, Wanda--coming together so well...;)))
ReplyDeleteOnly 30 here this frosty morning...but the sun is shining so perhaps we will begin to warm up today...hugs, Julirose
I hear you….moving things around and around. It looks beautiful and only a few points to adjust, awesome!
ReplyDeleteI really like this layout and I don't think the same fabrics close together are an issue at all, nor are the slightly less than perfect points.
ReplyDeleteThe layout looks great!
ReplyDeleteYES! (And then I turned my head to see what the layout would be like on point . . . I think this is a design that will keep on giving.)
ReplyDeleteYou did it again Wanda, creating a sensational pattern for this top. And what fun it is to see the several different designs in it. Blink your eyes and you see yet another design.
ReplyDeleteVery cool....kite streamers (from my childhood)...:)
ReplyDeletethat looks great. It is always hard to keep changing blocks around in the end it seems like you moved them all again and again
ReplyDeleteLove the movement in this one . . . very pretty.
ReplyDeleteOh, I like that a lot.
