A little progress...........................

I didn't do much yesterday, but did decide to make the 'other 16 patch', the one with rectangular pieces.  That meant I could cut the strip sets in half again and then sew the 2 pieces together.

I hope I'm going to like this.

After I cut these stratas into 2 columns and sew those together I'll know if I want to add more blocks and make it larger than my original plan.

These photos show all I got sewn last night.  I need to turn on the iron and press some more of the stratas that I sewed 2 days ago.

We're on another big weather change.  It was in the low 30s yesterday, will get near 60 today with rain, then temperature dropping into the high 20s and snow overnight into Monday.  They have changed the amount of snow we might get 3 times.  Last night they predicted 1 - 2".  The first prediction was 3 - 4".  It all depends on where the front stops.

That's quite an assortment of prints! They'll look great. I've been watching the forecast -- we'll be on the southern edge of the big blizzard (24" predicted for Green Bay and more for Marquette) but it will be very windy.

Some wildly changing weather! You might want to iron when the temperature drops.

You have some nice strata starts going on Wanda--nice and scrappy:))) Hasn't our weather been such a variance of extremes this year? Like someone turns on a Hot-Cold switch from day to day. It's 33 this morning here while we await our emergency garage door repairman--the spring "SPRUNG" apart yesterday at 4 p.m. and the two cars are locked in our garage!! Hoping he can fix it as Tom has two MD appointments coming up this week...Always something in a homeowner's life, right?? At least we found someone who would come today...hugs, Julierose

our weather is crazy too maybe not even up to 40 tomorrow and then will be in the 80's later in the week. today dark and dreary as the front comes through - first they said bad storms with it now it doesn't look like we get the rain.

Very interesting fabric combinations ~ anxious to see how they all come together.

Marcia Derse fabrics always look chaotic until the top comes together . . . Sometimes the ones I was most hesitant about turn out to the some of the most interesting. Hoping that happens with your "other" sixteen patches. Here, we are into the windy 70s today with serious thunderstorms early evening and a drop into the low 30s-upper 20s overnight. The two large botanic-type gardens in town have enormous swaths of glorious tulips in full bloom - I'm so sad that they (and so many of the late-flowering spring trees) are likely to be hurt by the sharply colder temps.
