Not a lot of progress was made on hand stitching Purple Rosy's binding. I have completed 3 corners so that makes me happy.
I spent many hours working on my computer, searching for photos, cleaning up files, and much more.
Here is another photo of the prettiness I'm looking at as I stitch away.
I'm looking forward to 40 degrees when I leave for PT today.

So nice to be gazing at colorful prints during this snowy (white out) season, Wanda. Good luck at your PT class...
ReplyDelete7 here this morning, so still in the freezer with sub zero windchills...I have to run out to grocery for a few things--but will wait a bit and hope that the temps rise at least a little bit...
I will be sewing together border strips as my fabric piece is not that wide! We shall test what it looks like today...since I have trouble envisioning for the most part, I will have to actually see it in place...Stay warm hugs, Julierose
The binding is such an elegant touch for those purples. Warming up here as well.
ReplyDeleteThat striped binding is so fun and you are almost done sewing it on! Our high is forecasted to be 29 today and that won't be too bad with the sun shining. At least the sun has been shining with this bitter cold weather.
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty fabric combos. I hope your PT helps. I also have been done some computer file cleanup. It's so easy to ignore until you can't find anything and your allotted cloud space gets nearly full.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the frigid cold 🥶 is moving out for a good long while. It is fun to look at the fabrics while sewing down the binding, enjoying them individually as well as collectively.
ReplyDeleteI haven't a clue what all I am doing today - I threw in a load of laundry and so far that is about it - I like to keep laundry caught up every couple days as I don't like to have to fold a lot - I don't do a lot of mine constantly as they can be worn more than once but Mike goes through a lot he is a sweaty person.
ReplyDeleteBinding is my favorite part. Almost done is the reason. Love the purples. Helen Reimers
