There are 16 more blocks sewn, 4 alike of 4 different combinations of fabric. I searched for more fabrics to cut while I did laundry yesterday morning.
I also cut more of the 2" finished triangles from the waste fabric. Now I wish I knew what I did with the first stack. I know I had them upstairs when I took a photo of them a few days ago and then I carried them to the basement to look for a small storage box. I didn't find a box but.....where did I put the triangles?
Rain most of the day yesterday and more overnight. I'll check the rain gauge when it all stops.
Oh, I do that….a tad bit frustrating. I’m famous for throwing fabric on top of a stack, effectively hiding the stack from myself ;-). I try to clear my cutting island at the end of the day just for that reason, lol.
ReplyDeleteOof I totally relate to misplacing stacks (or anything!), essentially hiding them from myself. We somehow managed to get 1-1/2 inches in 2 days, so I am pleased!
ReplyDeleteOh I hate it when that happens--and that happens all too often!!
ReplyDeleteThe blocks you put together are really pretty.
46 here and very windy...inside walkies for sure!!

So much empathy for the misplaced stack of triangles - I frequently have some logic to where I "store" things that later escapes me. Hope yours emerge soon, the fabric symphony is too good to lose.

The triangles will be in the last place you look, LOL! A rainy day is a good day to sew. Heck, any day is a good day to sew.
ReplyDeletemy blocks like to mess with me by falling off the ironing board & I'm like I just laid you there!🤣 It's coming a trencial downpour here this morning,I am luving the block combinations !
ReplyDeleteyou have the same fabric with the circles on them as I do - I hope you found your stack of triangles
ReplyDeleteYou said you were going to put the waste triangles in a mini storage container, but where then ended up sounds like a different story. I'm sure you will run across them. I do like the dots with the florals.
ReplyDeleteDelightful blocks!!
ReplyDeleteI remember as a kid, when it dawned on me that people say "It was in the last place I looked." Of course, once found, you quit looking! Hope you come across that first stack of fabrics soon.
Hugs!
