Another seven blocks joined the six I showed yesterday.
I spent part of the day yesterday cleaning up part of the garage and re-potting some cactus plants.
We got some more rain for a total of 1" over the 2 days. We really needed the rain.
This is the lineup of strips to sew today. I need 2 more pairs of fabric for this quilt top.
The tree straight across the street is really pretty right now. I like it while there is still a little green showing.
The Compact Burning Bushes in their second year are just starting to show a little red. I'm looking forward to their fall color. Last year was so dry they really didn't turn much before starting to drop leaves.
What a gorgeous tree!! I love the autumnal colors!
ReplyDeleteYour 16 patches are looking good together. Nice work coming along well.
Hugs on a rainy and warmish --64 degrees!-- day Julierose
I have been enjoying the autumn color on my drive home from work every day. It was very windy last night during the storm so I can imagine a lot of those leaves were blown away. The 16-patch quilt s coming along quickly!
ReplyDeleteI have to get a new bag of potting mix and repot my cactus's as well that is a gorgeous tree!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric mix for your new quilt in progress. I'm hunting out fabrics for one, I too was hooked when I saw the quilts from Anne. I was wondering about one in Autumn colours originally after seeing your lovely posts of trees in their fall colours, problem is I'd probably become bored so I'm going with my usual mix!
