On a gloomy dark and rainy day yesterday all I got done was preparing this 40" square Colorwash wallhanging for basting. We got another half inch of rain by yesterday morning at 8 a.m. and I will check this morning to see what the last 24 hour total is.
Always a treat to see another of your awesome colorwash pieces . Mother Nature has been frustrating this year with unusual weather patterns for all of us.
Yesterday was a chilly gloomy day here, too. Hard to get motivated on days like that. Even WITH the wonderful lights in my studio . . . Your colorwash is a sight for tired eyes!
I am just home from a week at the ocean (PNW) where it rained for 5 1/2 days of the 7 days I was there. (the 1st 2 days the waves & tides were so high that there was no beach !). So this quilt you are basting is a breath of fresh air :-)
it is nice to finally start getting some rain but I still have outside work I have to get done with !
ReplyDeleteRaining here, too. Makes it hard to get ahead of the falling leaves. Working on a bright quilt helps.
ReplyDeleteSo Beautiful!! I love the way you made it glow.....
