Here is a bright block to add to the pack. I really need to cut some more pieces but I was determined to make one more block from the pieces already cut.
I'm going to add in more green and blue and one turquoise for sure. I pressed some more fabrics so I can do some cutting today.
This is my most recent Bear Paw quilt that I finished in March this year. Every block has the traditional light and dark value placement. On my fall color blocks I have to decide if I'll stop at 12 blocks like I did on this one. It is 54" x 67.5".
I had 1.2" of rain in my rain gauge yesterday. It is such welcome rain before winter especially for our trees and bushes.
That bright block is beautiful! No rain here; we could sure use some. Forecast says maybe Friday and Saturday.
ReplyDeletewe have more rain chances this week and I hope we get some it is still very dry in my section of Arkansas - glad you got some. I love these bear paw blocks
ReplyDeleteWhen I start my bear paw quilt next year, I. am. GOING (!!) to follow your lead and make one block at a time (instead of my usual mass cutting ahead of time).
ReplyDeleteThat rust-colored "bubbley" print is really neat--nice choice.
ReplyDeleteNo rain in sight for us for the next 6 days--wo they say--but you never know...
Having cooler nights and still pretty warmish days--so our leaves have begun their Autumnal Color Dance.
Those blue BP's are just lovely, too nice work hugs, Julierose
Love your blocks.i need to see if I can put aside some neat fabrics for one. Yours is do pretty
