I had to start devoting some time to cleaning off tables again. I hoped to show a photo of a clean table but I didn't get that far. I'll keep working on it so I have a place to cut some borders and backing.
This is one of my favorites of the Economy blocks. The center is a really old Kaffe Fassett print, the yellow is a Philip Jacobs print and the black and white is a Brandon Mably design.
Pretty economy block...have fun putting those fabrics together...and good luck cleaning off your workspaces....hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteUnearthing table tops is a long process because every piece of fabric is a decision and potential rabbit trail. Love your favorite block.
ReplyDeleteHi Wanda, I realize you cut your pieces with your due cutter, but do you have the sizes of the pieces? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI have all the dies to cut those out I believe but I have the 12 inch set so they would be large blocks, now and then I am tempted to get the 8" or 9" set but tell myself no not at the prices they are
ReplyDeleteStunning block. I have been slowly cleaning up, sorting, re-folding, putting away, editing, discarding, and passing along to others lately. Both of my rooms feel more inviting again so hopefully I'll soon feel like digging into the making once again.
ReplyDeleteI have always liked that Kaffe fabric. I have it in green but not much is left. Their fabrics work so nicely together!

ReplyDeleteThey go wonderfully together, the three designs ... have fun for you.
ReplyDeleteGreetings to you.
I so enjoy your creations with fabrics, those fabrics seen alone… I would probably pass over. But you, the exuberant lady you are, can always see those fabrics working and creating an awesome block. Thats is one of my favorites also.

Love the combinations in this block
ReplyDeleteI do like this particular block, and have a little of the central fabric still in drawer.
