November 2020 monthly recap.............

The one and only big project that was made in November is the batik Bear Paw quilt top.  It is 54" x 69".

Then there was the big birthday with lots of sugar to mellow me out for the rest of the month.

I made quite a few masks in November but I'm not taking pictures of lots of them or keeping track of how many.  There were about 8 or 9 in this batch but only 2 got photographed.

And then there was the batch I made on the 29th.

Last night I sewed 8 more.  The 4 on the left are an olive green and red plaid flannel on one side and 4 different red plaid flannels on the reverse side.  The ones on the right are a red leaf print that has gold accents on one side and the dove print on the reverse of all 4.  Either side can be worn on the outside so the owner has their choice.

  1. Good morning Wanda. I like all the flannel masks you are making, and noticed you had a bead on the end of the elastic to adjust the length.
I used to make jewelry and have lots of beads, but non that could slip over a double piece of 1/4" elastic. Could you please let me know where you purchased them? Thank you!

  5. I can't begin to tell you how much I love that quilt top, Wanda! It's making was a process with life thrown in the mix. The fact that you got it together, while churning out even more masks, is a testament to your tenacity!

  9. You had a memorable November Wanda! Quite the collection of masks - are they mandatory in the Sates? Congratulations of your Bear Paw top, that border really fists the colours in the blocks beautifully.
