My little great-grandsons 2 states away need some more masks. They are both in school, pre-school and first grade. I don't know if they get to wear these fun ones to school but they will be a nice change for other times they need them. I send matching ones of some of them and I put white elastic on one and black elastic on the other so they can tell which is theirs.
It was a chilly 38 degrees yesterday but they are talking about mid 60s a week from now. I hope I can get some leaves raked this year. There was too thick of a layer of leaves all winter on my flower beds because we had so much rain last year and then it turned cold.
Oh what cute masks...our lawn is covered with leaves--all wet and soggy this morning in the cold rain..good day to cuddle up under a quilt;)))
ReplyDeletehugs, Julierose
cute masks but kids need to wear them too! we have been in a cool rainy spell this week in the 40's but next week they say back to the 60's so I will get my bulbs planted then and start to tackle the leaves which take multi days to do around here and sometimes I never get them done
ReplyDeleteI’m sure those personalized masks are a big hit for the kiddos!
ReplyDeleteCute masks! I am sure the kids will love wearing them. It has been soggy here! It seems to rain all night and then let up during the day, but no sun. My backyard is covered in leaves. I sure hope it does get sunny as forecasted on Saturday so I can get out and try blowing the leaves with the leaf blower. The plants needed a deep drink before winter so I guess they should all be happy.
ReplyDeleteLittle Man and his classmates (pre-K 3.5) wear masks at school - fun ones or plain ones from what I can see in the photos on their app. He has one with bananas that seems to be a favorite. Others have their super heroes, etc. Chilly and rainy here but not quite as cold as your area.
ReplyDeleteThose are very cute. I like the idea of different colored elastic to tell them apart.
ReplyDeleteFun masks!! Those are sure to be well received, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteOops! I got lost. Sorry for calling you the wrong name, Wanda!
ReplyDeleteI 'm playing catch up again today... Monday your colorwash all stitched together is another breath taking design from the studios of Exuberant Color. (*._.*) I'm sure your students are getting a course they will never forget Wanda, it is supreme.
ReplyDeleteTuesday your 'baby' colorwash is such a delight. And I enjoyed seeing them photographed together. Plus seeing the colorwash of your Viburnum bush.
Such a wonderful great grandma you are...cute fabrics for their masks.
Must tell you we got a BLIZZARD beginning this past Friday nite and woke up to 9" of new snow on Saturday. Other area's in Montana got up to 20" in the valleys. An Arctic front came along with it with temps dipping down to below zero and highs for the next two days was 23 and 25 degrees. Today it has warmed up to 44 a real heat wave !

The masks looks cute. It's nice to be able to make mask wearing for little children by using fun fabric. What size did you cut the fabric for the masks?
