Sewing started...........

I didn't change any more pieces in the colorwash and after my live session was done I started sewing.  I'm almost to the halfway point of sewing in one direction.

From Wednesday late afternoon and through the night into yesterday morning we got over 3" of rain.  We haven't had that much rain in one day for months.  More rain expected.

Today I am going to seriously work on washing the insides of my windows and hope to make it most of the way through the house.

  1. Oh window washing is quite a big chore--be careful and rest in between...
    Good luck Hugs, Julierose

  2. We may break a record for high temp today of 77 degrees, so I think I'll be doing some last minute outdoor chores before the next cold, wet spell sets in.

  3. 3" is a lot of rain for one day! The forecast here changes so quickly it is hard to keep up! 79 is the predicted high today. I probably won't be out walking at lunch - that is too hot for me. It looks like you got a lot of the colorwash sewn together. Washing windows is a big job. I hope you don't have to move too much furniture to get to the windows. Have a great weekend!

  4. Love the look of your webbed blocks. There are a few fabrics there that don’t seem like they’d be an easy fit for colorwash—you just can’t always tell!

We are getting hit yet another blizzard here in the mountains and we already have 6" of new snow. Its not to stop till mid-day on Saturday. Seems winter arrives earlier every year. My sister told me you had 70 degrees yesterday and all that rain plus its 40 today...
