I alternated between washing windows and sewing rows yesterday. All rows sewn in one direction. Now I have to turn on the iron.
We started out close to 70 degrees yesterday morning and were down in the 40s by afternoon. It was predicted to go down to 30 by morning so I covered my tomato plants again.
your weather did like ours yesterday and today I wake up to 45 - glad you were able to cover your tomatoes - the rows of blocks are looking good
ReplyDeleteLooking so vibrant and fresh! We reached a record breaking 81 and then thunderstorms and rain rolled in at night. Now it is real cold out there. I washed plants and pots to bring in for the winter. I always try to take some fancy leaf geraniums, begonias and coleus in, but usually never succeed in growing them until spring.
ReplyDeleteSame here. High 70s yesterday and mid 50s today.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you got lots accomplished yesterday. There is nothing like clean windows! It always seems to make such a difference. It sounds like much of the country is in for a good chill this weekend.
ReplyDeleteAll of your tedious tweaking on this beauty paid off! I watched the process (and progress)! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWow, your tomato plants are still worth saving? That's great, I finally pulled mine a couple of weeks ago. Of course after they got flattened in August, there wasn't much to pull :-/
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful colourwash Wanda, I know you spent a lot of time tweaking but gosh, it was worth it!
ReplyDeleteYou do beautiful work, admire all your colorwash quilts!
